Anambra: Navy Kills Three Unknown Gunmen At Police Checkpoint

Operatives of the Nigerian Navy have confirmed the killing of three unknown gunmen at a police checkpoint in Anambra Inform.
An announcement delivered to newsmen on Saturday by the Director Navy Public Household contributors, Brig Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, revealed that the valorous troops of Sector 5 of Exercise Golden Dawn deployed to the South-East, countered the gunmen with superior firepower, forcing them to flee the scene.

The assailants, essentially essentially based on the assertion, were adopted and the troops successfully neutralised them on the Police checkpoint along Okija-Onitsha freeway on 7 October.

The assertion study: “Troops of Sector 5 of Exercise GOLDEN DAWN deployed in Anambra have neutralised three unknown gunmen who attacked a Nigerian Police checkpoint along Okija-Onitsha freeway on 7 October 2021.”

Naija Recordsdata understands that the gunmen had approached the checkpoint driving in 2 Autos (a Hilux and Hummer bus).

Whereas some of them fled the gun duel with gunshot wounds, troops were ready to secure effectively one automobile and a pair of motorcycles, whereas conducting further exploitation of the usual role for the fleeing terrorists.

Sadly, a policeman paid the supreme mark, within the line of accountability, for his nation.

The Chief of Navy Workers commended the troops for the feat, whereas urging  them to protect the momentum in opposition to all criminal aspects working within the role.
