Punjab Congress leaders betrayed their mom for greener, nay, saffron pastures: Warring

PPCC president Amarinder Singh Warring lashed out at the leaders who left the Punjab Congress on Saturday to affix the saffron brigade. Warring acknowledged the turncoats owe their hottest stature to Congress, which groomed them love a mom, but when it became their turn to reciprocate, they moved to “saffron pastures.”

In a serious setback to the Congress in Punjab, four of its leaders and used ministers Raj Kumar Verka, Balbir Singh Sidhu, Sunder Sham Arora, and Gurpreet Singh Kangar joined the BJP on Saturday. Ancient Congress MLA from Barnala, Kewal Dhillon, and sitting mayor Amarjeet Singh Sidhu also jumped ship.

‘Outgoing elites have vacated space for younger leaders’

Amarinder Warring acknowledged whereas the inability of any chief is felt by the birthday celebration, it also creates alternatives for loyal, younger leaders, whose development otherwise gets blocked.

The Punjab Congress president acknowledged, “higher of success for joining the BJP… grateful that the elite who enjoyed the total privileges within the birthday celebration have vacated the gap for younger leadership from fashioned background”.

He pointed out that a variety of the leaders who abandoned the Congress had got the total privileges, with their family members occupying prestigious and highly efficient positions at the associated price of other loyal and hardworking leaders.
